Appearance and newly added section:

Dave recently did a talk at a local UK school (in Ecclesfield). Thus i have added a new subsection in the Appearance section detailing the visit with photos and report by Paul Register (thanks Paul!)

Appearance:

At the Imax Cinema in Birnigham, UK on Friday 18th September there will be a special screening of the Watchman movie and Dave will be available to sign books. Great chance to see Dave if you are in the area.

1-August-09 Update: New art and upcoming projects

Great new Watchmen art:

First there are two fantastic Rorschach commission from Dave added to the Watchmen comic section. (Big thanks to Royd Burgoyne and Paul Nguyen for letting me use the scans). And before anyone asks, NO, Dave does not do commissions. These were absolute exceptions.

Then we have a great rough for an upcoming Watchmen sculpture (based on the first promotional poster) and a Nite Owl and Silk Spectre pin-up used for the promo of the movie. These were added in the Watchmen movie gallery.

Upcoming projects: It is now offical. Mark Millar will unite with Dave to create a new project. Not much details are known at this point. You can find the announcenment at:

Also Dave contributes to the new issue (#2) of Liberty Comics, a special 48-page one-shot published by Image Comics in conjunction with the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF). New picture posted: Great Silver Surfer poster from Dave added to the Miscellaneous gallery section. Very early one swiped (Dave's own words) from Buscema. There also exists a Hulk one. If anynoe has a scan, please let me know.
